What this page covers

codo.fun introduces Codo. The learning app runs at app.codo.fun. This page explains what we store to run the site, accounts, classes, and payments.

Camera and microphone

Hand-seeing and voice-command games run in the student’s browser. Video and audio for those activities are not uploaded to Codo servers. The browser asks before the camera or microphone turns on, and either can be closed at any time.

Account

Sign-in uses Google. We receive the name, email address, and Google account id, and store them with lesson progress and class bookings. The account belongs to the adult who signs in, usually a parent or teacher.

Payments

Payments are handled by PayPal. We never see card numbers. We store the order id, amount, and status so we can show your classes and handle refunds.

Cookies

After sign-in, a cookie named hp_session keeps the session. The public pages work without an account. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

Codo is for kids and teens, and a parent or school creates the account and pays. We do not ask children for personal information.
